About Kildoon Advisory
When you are accountable for investment and business performance, you need to know whether you can trust the reporting, where value is at risk and what action is justified.
Kildoon Advisory provides independent advice, analysis and assurance to boards, executive teams and budget holders. We test reported progress against the underlying evidence, examine cost, risk and benefits, and give you a clear view of the options and their implications.
Our support can take the form of a discreet review for the commissioning executive or an open engagement with sponsors, delivery teams and partners. We agree the remit, access to information, confidentiality and how findings will be shared at the outset.
Our values
Grounded in values forged through military operations, these principles shape how Kildoon Advisory works with clients and delivery teams.
We do what we believe is right, honour our commitments and make conflicts of interest clear.
We give a candid view of the evidence, including difficult findings. We distinguish what we know from what still needs to be established.
We adapt our approach to your organisation and the challenge. Methods serve the work; they do not dictate it.
We keep the intended business outcome in view, so activity, decisions and recommendations have a clear purpose.
We bring a measured approach to difficult situations, helping teams establish the facts, prioritise and act.
We respond constructively to setbacks, focus on what can be influenced and sustain the effort needed to move forward.

We start by discussing what has prompted the conversation. Together, we define the question, the scope and what a useful outcome would look like.
We review the relevant evidence and speak with the people responsible for the work. Findings should explain both what is happening and why it matters.
We discuss the findings with you, explain the implications and agree priorities. Any further delivery support has a clear remit.
Before we speak
Not sure which service fits? Start with the issue you are trying to resolve.
Yes. A review can examine current delivery, an upcoming decision or a specific concern. We agree the scope around the evidence and the questions you need answered.
Not necessarily. A focused deep dive may be more useful when the concern relates to a particular issue, dependency or decision. The initial discussion helps establish the right scope.
A brief outline of the programme, your role, what is causing concern and any decision or deadline ahead. We can discuss what information would be useful for a scoped engagement.
No. Kildoon Advisory is technology-agnostic. We focus on the business outcomes, delivery requirements and operating model, working within your technology landscape.
We discuss the support required and agree the scope, outputs and commercial terms before starting an engagement.
